The higher your bounce rate the less time visitors stay on your website – two things that you definitely want to avoid.
Imagine you have a bricks-and-mortar store front where prospective customers come in through the front door . . . then quickly turn around and go right back out. After a while you’d probably be chasing after those lost prospects to ask them why they turned around and left your store.
Unfortunately it’s not that easy to interview bounced visitors to your website so we have to make some educated guesses.
